How does The Second Hand Shop work?
Introduction
TSHS has been created to facilitate the buying and selling of of second hand school clothes and related school items. The store was established during lockdown when many school second hand shops are closed.
We believe that by matching buyers and sellers we can help both sides come out on top financially
How it works
Seller
- Converting your old clothes to cash has never been easier. Simply identify what you want to sell and then load them on TSHS in a few easy steps
- Add your item to our store by click “Post An Ad”. Give a brief description, set your price and voila.
- You will need to create an account with us if not done already.
- It helps to share your items to your social media network.
- Check your inbox to see if your item has been sold.
Once your items are loaded and approved, you are ready to sell. and be paid
As soon as an item has been sold you will be notified by email and the buyer will be given your details to arrange for collection.
Once the goods have been given to the buyer the transaction will be marked as completed and ready for payment.
Proceeds from the sale may be kept in your account or requested for release. We make payments on the 20th of each month.
Buyer
Simply navigate our site and choose what you would like to buy. Add your purchases to your basket and pay for your goods via our secure PayFast payment gateway.
You then have 7 days to collect the goods from the seller and complete the transaction.
